All students will be writing their essays this semester on a computer program call Essay Scorer. The program is valuable to our students for a couple of reasons:

1. It provides instant feedback for students after they are done writing their essays.
2. Their essays are graded objectively by a computer program. Although this takes out the negative side of the human element, as a teacher, I will still reserve the right to look at the computer assessment and make changes if they are necessary.
